Draw in the air

Before start this article, I’ll try to explain what’s 3D Printing?

3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. 3D printing enables you to produce complex (functional) shapes using less material than traditional manufacturing methods.

How does a 3D printer work ?

It all starts with the creation of a 3D model in your computer. This digital design is for instance a CAD (Computer Aided Design) file. A 3D model is either created from the ground up with 3D modeling software or based on data generated with a 3D scanner. With a 3D scanner you’re able to create a digital copy of an object.

How does a 3D printing pen work?

Like the 3D printer but easier to operate. You need not a computer, nor a software CAD, only a 3D printing pen and some plastic filament (ABS, PLA, PCL, etc), you can free up the imagination,  draw a wonderful world in the air.

Operation Guide:

1.Take out a  Tipeye 3D pen, a pack PLA filament, and a USB cord .

2. Make sure the cut end of the PLA filament is flat, if not, cut it to be flat.

2                      3                             4

3. Connect the 3D pen to power supply (5V/2A), we’ve used Odrvm mobile charger, it enters standby condition when the LCD screen displays ” PLA” or ” ABS”, we picked “PLA” .

4.The light will be green when the temperature arrives, then press the “◀ button to load the PLA filament.

6                                        55

  7                                        8

5. Then you can draw what you want.

6. Press the “▶” button once to start unloading automatically, then disconnect the 3D pen with the USB charger after unloading finished.
